About Susan Braverman

Susan BravermanI became a coach because it allows me to bring all parts of myself to my work helping people improve their lives.

As a social worker and marriage and family therapist, I learned to listen to the deeper messages about what people want for their lives. As an Employee Assistance consultant, I learned where to find the resources people need to make their lives work better. As a specialist in traumatic stress, I learned about the incredible strength, resourcefulness and resilience of people as they face life’s greatest challenges. As a business owner and entrepreneur, I learned about the challenges of running a business.  The work I did in my company brought me into every imaginable kind of organization and I learned to appreciate the differences in organizational cultures.

As a wife and mother, I learned the value of humor and perspective in building a family and intimate relationships.  Now, as an executive and personal (life) coach, my great joy is to inspire people to move beyond the barriers that have held them back.

I love working with people in transition: people feeling stale in their jobs and looking for the next challenge; women whose children are growing up and who finally have time to focus on themselves; people beginning to raise a family and trying to figure out how to balance career and family; people adjusting to being in a committed partnership and people adjusting to being newly single.

My commitment to you is to help you refine your goals, develop effective strategies for reaching them, and to inspire you to create your life with passion and excitement.
